Camarillo Grove Dog Park is a well-maintained park that provides an op-paw-tunity for off-leash fun. It is located around 22 miles away from Fillmore, in East Camarillo. The park is fenced and, although it's not very big, it has plenty of shade, which is very mutts-needed on those dog days of California summer! There is a drinking fountain available at the enclosed area. You'll also find an unfenced area here, which includes doggie waste stations. Moreover, there is parking nearby which is a big plus, too. All you need to worry about it bringing plenty of energy to play!

Malibu Springs

If you're looking to share a day in nature with your pal and get some gorgeous views of the sunrise or sunset, you should take your dog for a hike from Mishe Mokwa to Mount Allen Trail. This trail is located around 33 miles away from Fillmore, in Malibu Springs. This trail is considered moderate difficulty, making it perfect for beginners and seasoned hikers alike. The trail is 6 miles long and takes around 3 hours to finish. Make sure you bring water, snacks and waste bags so you can keep the trail clean. There are two parking lots there and also two routes that you can take.
