I lived on a farm growing up and had all sizes and breeds of dogs. I love dogs and I've always had them in my life, they are like family to me. I currently have a Jack Russell Terrier named "Finnegan" and a Golden Retriever named "Digby". I volunteer my time with Life Animal Rescue to help find homeless & abandoned dogs a permanent, loving home. I look forward to walking your dog and getting to know your four-legged family member!

Growing up I always had lots dogs from small to big and I love them all ! I use to dog sit for my neighbors and was rewarding knowing I was filling in for their owners with the responsibility of caring for them from feeding to walking them and it was always so appreciated . Dogs bring us such joy in our lives and are always happy to see you ! It’s truly the best job ever and very rewarding to be helping people out when they aren’t able to due to work and etc..

Dogs seem to love me. Is it because I bend to their level and talk to them softly or is it because I always carry treats? Your dog and I will both have a great time on our walk. We will stop to explore important smells, but not long enough to roll in them! I am newly retired and the excitement of my day is taking a dog out for a great walk.

Hi pet parent, I’m a well seasoned & mature dog lover/parent & just love to walk come rain or shine, day or night, dogs & walking are 2 of my top passions so I’d be honored to walk your furry family member/s. Throughout my life I’ve parented, walked, trained & cared for dogs of all sizes from Great Danes to Jack Russsells & I love them all, nothing really fazes me when it comes to dogs & that’s probably why dogs love me back, I’m the first person friends call if they’re unable to walk their dogs or if their dog is unwell & they’re looking for guidance. I’ve a background of medical nursing & holistic healing/therapies - all certified & apply my gifts, knowledge & wisdom to my furry friends so if your dog needs a little massage/energy healing, medication after their walk I’m happy to oblige. I look forward to fulfilling your dogs walking needs & to give you the reassurance that they’re happy, healthy & safe.

Hi there, my name is Marc. Thank you for taking time to sneak a peek at me. Dogs and their well being have always been a priority in my life. I'm a huge animal lover and I've always familied up with dogs due to the generous, light hearted nature they provide to us, either as a family member or just a straight up good friend. I've worked with them along the lines of 18yrs and my experiences run anywhere from boarding facilities, to daycare, to dog ranches, to dog sitting/walking and on occasion and helping families raise a new puppy, in a nanny type of fashion and having one of my own. I'm always heart when it comes to befriending a new dog into my life and I'm also learning a new type of modality that combines traditional dog training interwoven with energy healing (which I've been an energy healer for the past few years). Thank you and I look forward to meeting you and becoming a new friend of your beloved best friend!

Dog Walking in Moorpark

California is one of the states where there is a relatively high percentage of cat owners. That, however, does not mean that there are no dogs in Moorpark, California. Ventura County consists of a wide variety of landscapes ranging from mountains, rolling hills, wide open meadows to sandy beaches. A perfect place to go outside and enjoy the weather with pets.

The fact that Moorpark, California, has its own off-leash dog park, is a clue that the people of this city love dogs. This dog park is part of the College View Park and fully enclosed. For safety reasons dogs have to be vaccinated and licensed. The dog section of the regional park is not open for small children.

An alternative to the dog park in Moorpark is the Conejo Creek Dog Park, located in the nearby Thousand Oaks, California. The playground is divided into a section for small dogs and a section for large dogs. There are benches, water fountains, grassy areas with trees for shelter, toys and much more.

Dog owners can also set out into nature by following the Rosewood Trail. This 4-mile hiking trail features the Angel Vista viewpoint which offers an amazing view over the Santa Monica Mountains. Dogs are allowed on a leash.

Most come to a dead end just under a mile or so, which are perfect for a short walk. The main trail is the easiest one for you to take. It is beautiful with views of the ocean throughout. This trail leads to some older ruins after about a mile that are fascinating and full of history. Once you get past the ruins there is a waterfall. Fur buddies are not permitted to swim, but the barktacular views make it well worth the trip.
