Moorpark Dog Park is located right in the heart of the neighborhood. Not only are there two fenced-in areas for your canine companion to play safely in, but there is also playground equipment nearby that lets your mini humans run and play, too. You will find plenty of shaded areas to sit and relax while your beloved little family plays in the sunshine. With water fountains and cleaning stations, you’ll have everything that you need for a fun day out. The neighborhood is quiet, and the people and pets are friendly so get out there, have some fun, and make some friends!

Malibu

Just 30 miles from Moorpark is Malibu, where you’ll find Solstice Canyon. There are a few trails that you and your human can choose from. Most come to a dead end just under a mile or so, which are perfect for a short walk. The main trail is the easiest one for you to take. It is beautiful with views of the ocean throughout. This trail leads to some older ruins after about a mile that are fascinating and full of history. Once you get past the ruins there is a waterfall. Fur buddies are not permitted to swim, but the barktacular views make it well worth the trip.

Thousand Oaks

Conejo Creek Dog Park lies just 14 miles outside of Moorpark in Thousand Oaks. This is a good-sized park. The 3.5 acres are split in the middle to create two separate fenced-in areas. You can almost always find a ball to catch, a squirrel to bark at, and fur friends to run with. Just outside the fenced area are picnic tables, so don’t forget to pack a picnic! Water fountains are found throughout so that your furry friend always has clean water while playing. Take a minute to pawse in the shade structures set up within the fenced areas.

Camarillo

Mission Oaks Dog park is the perfect place to take the whole family. It is located just 21 miles from Moorpark and has a ton to offer. There is a designated dog park, but it does not have a fence so you will need to either be on a leash or be able to listen to voice commands. As long as you bring a leash, you and your puptastic pal can walk the trails, enjoy a picnic, or watch the mini humans play in the playground. There are lots of shaded rest areas with benches. Fido will love exploring this 20-acre park and everything it has to offer.

Calabasas

Come on! Let’s go on an adventure to Calabasas Dog Park. It is just 24 miles from Moorpark and offers you so much to see and do. While the dog park is small, there are two fenced-in areas with grass for your furry friend to run and play in. The park is very well-maintained and is known for being quiet and maybe even a little hidden gem. It is the perfect place to spend some time relaxing with your human. There are water fountains available if you need to cool off. Your mini humans can also play in the designated play area set up for them. Fun for the whole family!
