Socially Distanced Pet Care

Hi. I am originally from Texas but have lived in La Jolla for 18 years. My love for animals started at a very young age, as I grew up around horses, cows, goats and plenty of dogs. I have had Great Danes, Beauviers, Labs, German Shepherds, etc. Presently, I have a Havanese, a Maltipoo and a Schnauzer. I don't have kids so my pups are my world and I spoil them rotten. God gave me a special ability to be able to read dogs and make them feel comfortable and at ease. I was a personal trainer and avid runner most of my life, so I really enjoy running, walking and playing with all dogs!

Dog Walking in San Marcos

In the northern part of San Diego County, in the suburbs of San Diego, lies the city of San Marcos. San Marcos offers beautiful sceneries, peace and tranquility and a wide array of medical and social facilities. The abundance of open space also makes the city a very welcoming place for animals, with plenty of pet-friendly options for you and your pet to seize the day.

Is your pup anxious to be off the leash? San Marcos offers multiple dog parks that allow dogs to run off-leash to explore and socialize. One of the more popular options is San Elijo Hills Dog Park, which commands a magnificent view and is located on a slope for a more rugged and natural experience.

An alternative which offers fun for the whole family is Sunset Park. This little hidden gem is split up in several areas, including a separate dog park. And as long as you keep him or her on the leash, your trusted, four-legged friend can stroll through the rest of the park alongside with you.

Are you planning a short stay in San Marcos California and want to take your dog with you? Pet-friendly hotels such as Ramada Limited San Marcos and Lake San Marcos Resort have you covered. Grabbing a bite to eat is also not a problem with the vast array of restaurants in the area that allow dogs. In short, San Marcos loves dogs!
