Dog Walking in Appleton

Appleton is a large neighborhood of the town of Grand Junction. Pups and their parents who live in the area can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities all throughout the year. If your pup needs medical attention in the Appleton area, the Amigo Animal Clinic is the place to go for routine or emergency needs. There are seven other veterinarian clinics in the surrounding area, but you will have to travel a bit further.

Your pups will enjoy spending time along the river and hiking the Colorado Riverfront Trail. Fido will have a snifftastic time wandering along the banks of the river smelling all the plants, and you will enjoy beautiful views and a variety of wildlife.

The Moondance RV & Campground is a popular destination featuring a nice dog run where Fido can get some off-leash exercise. The campground offers RV and tent sites, and there are clean bathrooms and shower facilities. If you are planning to go hiking in the mountains, this is a perfect spot to create your home base, and your pooch can socialize with other pups in the dog run.

While you are in the Appleton area, stop by the Belli Fiori Lavender Farm where you can sip lemonade on the patio and find unique products for your pooch. There is an amazing dry dog shampoo for pups who don’t like the bathtub, and the owners are friendly and willing to answer questions.
