East Lower Matecumbe Key
Make your way to the eastern section of the Lower Matecumbe Key, and you and your precious pup are sure to have a priceless adventure. This is where you’ll find Robbie’s of Islamorada, an all-in-one location for all your aquatic needs. Witness the feeding of the tarpon, and pay a visit to any of the shopping locations. Your canine companion is even welcome upon privately chartered boats, as well as rental boats. Bring plenty of clean drinking water, and doggy waste bags so you can properly clean up after your furry friend. You and your pup will have a blast.36
East Windley Key
In a pitter-patter of your pup’s paws, you’ll find yourself in the eastern section of the Windley Key. If your dog is itching for a bit of off-leash fun, this is the place to be! It’s home to Founder’s Park Dog Park, a fenced-in and grassy dog park where your pup pal can have the time of their lives. There is a small fee for non-residents, but it’s well worth it to let your little lovebug stretch their legs. Bring fresh drinking water and plenty of doggy waste bags to clean up any of puppy’s little accidents.24
West Lower Matecumbe Key
If you and your fur baby are feeling a bit more adventurous, and crave the fresh and warm atmosphere of a sandy beach, mosey on over to the Western Section of the Lower Matecumbe Key. Here, you’ll find Anne’s Beach. A dog-friendly beach with plenty of shady spots for you and puppy to prance in, you’ll also find a water bowl available to be filled with fresh water, as well as a doggy waste bag dispenser and bins.
