Doral and 114 West’s community is served by the Doral Meadow Park. This 14-acre park splits its space between sports fields, a playground, picnic areas, and scenic walking trails. Your dog has to remain on leash in this park. This is especially important since Doral Meadow Park’s trails are also popular with cyclists! You don’t have to bring your own water to the park, but a doggie bowl will help your dog hydrate. When you get tired of following the trails, you can explore some open grassy spaces instead. There’s always plenty for nose-oriented dogs to sniff out in this park!

Doral Landings

Trails and Tails Park is an adorably named dog park. It’s also a must visit in Doral! This dog park is entirely fenced and totally off leash! There are different areas for large and small dogs, and an adjacent children’s playground that makes this dog park fun for the whole family. Your dog can run off leash without you worrying about cleanup. Trails and Tails Park offers multiple wash stations so your dusty, dirty, or muddy dog doesn’t hop into your car that way! There are doggie drinking fountains in the park, and typically plenty of playmates for your dog!

NW 97th to W 93rd

This large and busy neighborhood in Doral is home to the Morgan Levy Park and two incredible, dog-friendly restaurants. This park is large and made to serve a sport-oriented community. There are large sports fields, a community center (dogs aren’t allowed indoors), a playground and picnic area. Once you’re ready to relax with a good meal, take your dog to Olivos Restaurant. They serve a variety of cuisines, but focus on fresh, high quality ingredients. If you want something quicker, Einstein Bros Bagels serves cafe style food to a casual outdoor dining area. Try the signature bagels or indulge in a breakfast sandwich.

Airport Lakes II

Veterans Park in Airport Lakes II is a simple park perfect for a quiet getaway. It’s in the middle of a busy neighborhood, but the park’s simple design encourages quiet reflection. There’s a statue honoring veterans near the center of the park, a small, shaded playground, and picnic area. The rest of the park is open space. It’s a great place to walk a shy dog who doesn’t love crowds. Though the park doesn’t have any trails, the meadows are large enough to make walking them a few times count as a good walk. Bring your own water and a bowl to share it, and dogs must be leashed in the park.

NW Dolphin

NW Dolphin is a great neighborhood for dog-friendly dining. Load up your pup and head to either of two great restaurants for a meal you and your dog won’t soon forget. Start with Punto Sur. This Latin American steakhouse serves mouthwatering cuts of meat, pastas, and other entrees. Call ahead if you can, and make sure there’s room on the dog friendly patio for you and your pup. If you’re looking for American bar food elevated to an art form, try Miller’s Ale House down the street. They have a much larger outdoor seating area, and try to put a fresh spin on bar crawl classics.
