South Walled Lake
The neighborhood of South Walled Lake is located right along the southern shore of Walled Lake, filled with upscale residential homes. Right on the water is a park known as the Pavilion Shore Park, and is one of the best places to walk Fido. The park has nearly a mile of combined trails that criss-cross and connect to the scenic overlook that watches over the lake. In between the different areas of trails is open space and grassy terrain, with shaded sitting areas, a picnic area, water fountains, and trash bins. Additionally, there is a small fishing pier and boat launch available, but only to pups who are on a leash.

The Taft Novi neighborhood is a packed residential area on the southwest side of the city. The Ella Mae Power Park features an expansive 28 acres of land with open space, thick forests, and recreational fields. The park has 7 fenced-in baseball fields and two soccer fields, surrounded by open fields, forested trails, a playground, and a pond for fishing. Whether looking to play or walk, Fido must be on a leash. Fuerst Park is a smaller and quieter park in the area that hosts a small 8-acre area of open fields and winding paved paths. There's a shaded middle section with a playground, picnic tables, benches, water fountains, and trash bins.

Royal Crown is a western neighborhood with school districts, rows of homes, and large areas of thick trees. The Wildlife Woods Park is a place where some of those woods are and allows humans and pups to explore the area. With open space to run around and play in, Fido will love the park and enjoy the privacy and shade created by the encompassing woods. Additionally, there are paved walkways, a playground, two ballfields, and a pavilion. If you're looking for some privacy on your walk with Fido, head over to the ITC Trail. The neighborhood of Village Oaks is a packed residential area surrounding two ponds. The largest park of the area is the Village Wood Lake Park, a vibrant park with lots of vegetation along the shore of Village Oak Lake. The open field is great for running around with Fido or having a picnic, with access to benches and picnic tables along a paved path. There's a small dog-friendly beach as well, although dogs need to remain on a leash everywhere in the park. Brookfarm Park is a similar park, with a nice open field surrounded by oak trees.
