There are some pawtastic dog walks to be had in Bixby, whether this be in a park or on a trail. The Charley Young Park is a small city park located in downtown Bixby, with picnic areas, playgrounds, and hand-carved wooden statues dotted around. The Bentley Park Sports Complex is also worth checking out, as this award-winning park features an impressive range of sports facilities, as well as a playground and walking trail.

For pups who love trail walks, the Riverwalk Trail will be popular. This paved greenway cuts its way through the city, crossing the Arkansas River and offering up some spectacular views. The two mile Fry Ditch Creek Trail is also worth taking a stroll on, as this waterfront trail is home to a wide range of wildlife, from armadillos to hawks. If you and your pooch would like something to eat after your walk, head on over to the dog-friendly outdoor tables at the Rib Crib, where you and Fido can choose from a wide selection of championship ribs and sauces.

In addition to all of that, the park is also home to Biscuit Acres, a fenced-off dog park that stretches out for 2.5 acres. If your pup would prefer Mediterranean cuisine, Zoe's Kitchen is the place to go, while Brookside by Day is another popular eatery serving up casual comfort food.
