The town is in both Linn and Marion County, and is known for their massive pedestrian bridge called the Phoenix Column Bridge. There are no veterinarians in Mill City, but there are two in Stayton that your dog can go and visit.

Spend a day out at Hammond Park with your furry pal. The park sits along the Santiam River and offers a great view of the bridge, plus it offers benches, plenty of grass to run in, and a trail along the lake that you and Fido can use for a nice walk together. 

If Fido would rather spend time out at a different park, then check out the Mill City Falls Park. This park features the Phoenix Column Bridge that will take you over the Santiam River. There are plenty of trees to keep you both shaded at the park, plus a trail along the lake where you and your dog can take a walk together and get some good exercise if while you are visiting.
