University Area Association
Since you are on the coast, you’ve got to make sure you visit a beach when you are Galveston! You will be happy to hear that dogs are welcome on public beaches, which means your pup can enjoy the sand and sea too. Just make sure your furry friend remains on his leash. You can head to East Beach for a pup-tastic day out, with a pavilion and boardwalk, as well as a beautiful clean beach. You can also check out Stewart Beach Park, where your pup can have fun in the sun. All you have to pay is a vehicle entrance fee and you can stay all day with your dog.

In downtown Galveston, there are a host of great places you can bring your furry friend. The Surf Styles Surf Shop lets you bring your pup into the store, so you can shop together.
