Eastsound Orcas Island
When your stomach starts to growl, be sure to head to Roses Bakery Café when you are in Eastsound! This is a pawsome place where you can tuck into some delicious Southwest American dishes, as well as get your paws into some of the tasty treats from the bakery. Your pup is welcome at one of the outdoor tables to watch the world go by. If your pup has been a good boy or girl, then you have got to burn off some excitable energy over at Buck Park! This is a large open space where your furry friend can roam freely and enjoy some fresh air. There are some trees for shades, as well as furrific amenities, such as baseball fields, tennis courts and a basketball court.

North Beach
When you are in Eastsound, you cannot miss out on a trip to the Orcas Island Dog Park! This pawsome place is paradise for your pooch and is all fenced in for safe exercise and playtime. Your doggo will love to run around on the grass, play with toys, and make new furry friends. There are benches for you to relax and watch your pup have fun in the sun, as well as shade provided by the trees and a shelter for your panting pooch. Just be sure to bring some fresh water and treats for after all that excitement!

Glenwood Inn Rd
For an adventure with your pooch, head to Point Doughty Recreation when you are in Eastsound! This is a puptastic 57 acre preserve that has lots of sniff-tastic trails through the forest where you and your doggo can go exploring. There is also the oppawtunity to go kayaking here, and there is lots of wildlife you can spot along the way. If you are visiting Eastsound and would like to stay in dog friendly accommodation, check in to the North Beach Inn. This is a pawsome place that welcomes two pups of any size for only a small additional fee per night.

Lopez Island
If your pup loves hiking and exploring with you, you have got to visit the Spencer Spit State Park! This is a furrific place located on Lopez Island, which is easily accessible via a ferry from Eastsound. It takes around 30 minutes, but your pup will love it! In the Spencer Spit State Park, there are over two miles of sniff-tastic trails where you can get back to nature with your pooch. There is also the oppawtunity to spot wildlife, go fishing, and hang out at the picnic areas and enjoy a treat. All canines are welcome, as long as they remain on leash.

Friday Harbor Town Center
For a fun day out with your doggo, jump on the ferry and head over to Friday Harbor! This journey is around one hour and it will all be worth it for your pooch since Friday Harbor is home to Eddie and Friends Dog Park! Here you can unclip your beloved companion’s leash and watch him have a ball with other furry friends. This dog park is all fenced in for safe play, and there are separate areas for small pups and larger canines. There is a gazebo for some shade, but be sure to bring some water for your panting pooch.
