Friday Harbor Town Center
You have got to visit Eddie and Friends Dog Park when you are in town! This is a pawsome place where you can unclip your pup’s leash and watch him have fun with other furry friends. It is all fenced in for safe play, and there are separate areas for small and large canines. Another pawsome place for exercise is South Beach! Your doggo is welcome to run around on the sand and make a splash in the sea, as long as he remains on leash. If you get hungry after all that fun, head to the Bean Café for a bite to eat. Here you can get your paws into some wraps, sandwiches and soups for lunch. Your beloved companion is welcome out on the patio.

Roche Harbor/ Argyle
For an adventure with your pooch, head to the Lime Kiln Point State Park! This is a pawsome place where you can go hiking with your furry friend and explore the land, as well as have the oppawtunity to bird watch. Of course, you can’t forget to do some whale watching here, since it is one of the best places for it in the world! For a family day of fun, head to Pelindaba Lavender Farm with your pooch. This place is dog friendly, and you can wander around and admire the lavender fields, as well as buy some handcrafted products. There are also dog bones you can get for your beloved companion!

Lopez Island
For some exercise and fun with your furry friend, jump on one of the ferries over to Lopez Island! Here you will find the pawsome Spencer Spit State Park, which is a beautiful place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Your pooch will love to explore the two miles of sniff-tastic trails here where you can wander through the forest, as well as admire views of Frost Island. There is also plenty of oppawtunity to spot the wildlife that lives here, as well as go fishing. So, bring some water and treat,s and enjoy some exercise with your pup before relaxing at one of the picnic areas!

Eastsound
A pawsome place to have a day out with your pooch is the puptown of Eastsound! This takes around one hour on the ferry, but it will be worth it to see your pup’s tail wagging over at the Orcas Island Dog Park. Here there is lots of grass, and it is all fenced in so your pooch can enjoy bounding around with other furry friends. There are benches for you to chill out, as well as shade for your panting pup. Just be sure to bring some water and treats for your doggo after all that fun in the sun!
Ferry Terminal Rd/ Sunset Ave
Every pooch loves a trip to the park, so why not make a day of it over in Anacortes? It takes around an hour to get there on the ferry from Friday Harbor, but it is all worth it when you go to Washington Park! This is a beautiful place by the water where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll with your pooch around the 220 acres of land. There is a sniff-tastic 2.2 mile walkway you can wander to admire views of the San Juan Islands and Olympic Mountains, as well as explore the forests with your pup. Other furrific amenities here include a boat launch, picnic site and camping areas.
