Introduction
Coffee Inspired Dog Names in Pop Culture
When it comes to taking your dog on an outing, there are quite a few coffee shops that will allow your pet to sit outside (and occasionally inside) with you while enjoying a delicious beverage; but what if you don't have a dog or yours isn't quite ready to be brought into such a setting yet? In such a situation, it would be ridiculously ideal to have a café nearby that just has dogs on hand, ready to snuggle and love you. While that idea may seem rather far fetched, such a thing actually exists! Located near Dela Paz in the Philippines, there is a little coffee shop known as the Barkin' Blends Café which offers furry companionship and a complimentary drink when you visit them. The overall cost is Php219.00 (around $4.20 in US currency) and this price gets you entrance to the facility along with one free drink.
Vising this café, you will find a group of friendly employees who are more than happy to serve you a wide range of delicious beverages and a few options for food such as pastas and burgers. Although the food and drink are most likely huge hits, the biggest attraction this café has to offer is its group of resident dogs. These dogs range from big to small, with breeds such as Golden Retrievers, Jack Russell Terriers, Poodles, and more! Each of these dogs are extremely well cared for and the café even has specific rules in place to protect the well-being of the animals who live there. No outside pets are allowed into the café and children under a certain age must be accompanied by an adult. On top of these precautions, any behavior that would harm or provoke the dogs (such as teasing or pulling on their tails/ears) is strictly prohibited and will result in the customer being asked to leave. This level of care ensures that the dogs are happy and well-behaved so that customers can fully enjoy their company!
In total, there are currently around 30 dogs that reside at the Barkin' Blends Café. You can go to the website ( http://barkinblends.com/) to see the full list, but just a few of these furry friends include Skye (Siberian Husky), Finn (Golden Retriever), Smile (Pug), and Bonnie (Poodle). If you are a dog person, this café is definitely somewhere that you will want to visit as there are amazing breeds of all kinds. Unfortunately, it is outside of the United States, so you'll need to plan a trip to the Phillipines in order to see it; but that's just a great excuse to get out of the country and see the world. So grab your suitcase and go check it out!
Coffee Inspired Dog Name Considerations
A large factor that will contribute to choosing a coffee themed name for your dog is going to be their coloring. If you have a dog that is a lovely, light and creamy brown color, a name such as "Latte" may be right up your ally. Lattes are subtle and warm with just a hint of sweetness that truly brings the masses running time and time again. Some people may not enjoy them much, but for those that do, a classic Latte always seems to do the trick. Another example of color matching would be the simple name of "Coffee". As can be imagined, this name will most likely fit a dog with very dark coloring best. Big dark eyes and a black (or very dark brown) coat will most likely be the most common features when it comes to meeting a dog named "Coffee".
Personality can play some part when choosing a coffee themed moniker, however, due to the fact that coffee beverages can be interpreted quite differently from person to person, it is a bit difficult to assign one personality type to any specific name. For instance, with the name "Coffee" once more. Some people find plain, black coffee to be comforting and smooth while others find the raw nature of the drink to be intense and bitter. Because of this vast difference, a dog that has a very comforting nature could be dubbed "Coffee" but so could a dog that has a very intense aura about them. Perhaps this fact alone is what makes coffee themed names so wonderful! With a wide variety and a very versatile nature, no matter what type of dog you have, if you love coffee it should be easy to pick the perfect name for your furry friend.
