This community park has a beautiful boardwalk trail that goes through wetlands. It also has a paved .9-mile walking path that your dog is sure to love. Little Beaver Creek Greenway is another furtastic place to go hiking with your dog. This 12-mile trail stretches from Lisbon to Washingtonville, and the Lisbon trailhead is just 14 miles from North Lima. If you’re looking for a good place to let your pup play off-leash, check out Brady's Run Dog Park. Located 24 miles from North Lima, this dog park has separate areas for large and small dogs to play in. Both areas include big, grassy fields where your pup can run and play as much as they’d like. On hot days, your dog can also splash around in the park’s stream. If your dog gets thirsty, water is available. After the dog park, continue your fun day out with lunch at The Boardwalk. This pizzeria has four dog-friendly outdoor tables, and they serve thin-crust Sicilian-style pizzas, calzones, and hot and cold sandwiches.
This Canfield neighborhood is home to another great off-leash area, Austintown Dog Park. This dog park is about 13 miles from North Lima, and it has two separate areas: a half-acre area for large dogs and a quarter-acre area for small dogs. The large dog area has six pieces of agility equipment for your dog to play on, and both areas have open fields with plenty of space for your dog to run. Bring water for your pup, and have a fun time playing here. If you want to go for lunch after playing at the dog park, check out The Phoenix Fire Grill and Bar. This dog park is 31 miles from North Lima, and it has separate areas for large and small dogs. Both areas are fenced and feature wooded areas for your pup to run around in. Your dog can also go swimming in Mosquito Lake, which is right next to the dog park. While your dog plays, you can watch from one of the park’s shady benches. If your dog gets thirsty while they’re playing, water is available for them. Your dog will love playing in this park!
