Did someone say beach trip? Just 8 miles away, you'll find Rosie’s Dog Beach, where your dog can play in the sand and sun and cool off in the water. There is free parking but it is minimal; you may have to pay for metered parking while you're here. The water is easy for your pup to get in, and the soft sand will feel good under his paws. This beach has two different sections: one where your canine pal can run freely off-leash, and one where they must stay on their leash. You will need to keep in mind that you will be in the sun all day, so packing the essentials is very important. You will want to bring plenty of water, doggy waste bags for clean-up and an umbrella for shade since you will be directly in the sun.
