City Center
Set on an island, the beautiful resort city of Coronado is located across the San Diego Bay, which makes it an excellent place for spending some quality time with your Fido. Coronado Beach Dog Park in the city center is a must-see! The leash-free beach for dogs is the most exciting spot for all visitors on the west part of the beach. It is the best place to splash around, fetch a Frisbee, catch a ball, or battle the incoming waves. The beach park is a dog park in all senses: it is open 24 hours for late or early visits, or anytime you want to take your pooch out for some mutts-needed playtime on the beach.

Be sure your pup is on his leash and under your control at all times. Have a nice walk and enjoy the views of the city, or stop by to grab a snack at the local trail-side café. Unimpressed? Want more from your visit? Then Coronado Surfing Academy is the right place for you and you friend. You can take private lessons with an instructor on one of San Diego’s beaches. Your pup is sure to yelp in excitement! And when you’re exhausted after the training, enjoy a meal at the European-style café, Tartine. Or, share an outside picnic at Lil’ Piggy’s Bar-B-Q.
