Hi, I'm Becky! I am new to San Diego and one of my favorite things to do is to explore this awesome city with a dog by my side. I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and don't think I could have it any other way. My current best friend/roommate is George, a 5 year old pit bull/lab mix. I understand that all dogs need discipline and respect, with lots of love and exercise. I'll make sure to always keep all dogs super safe and happy.

Just two miles northeast (but still in San Diego), you can find Trolley Barn Park. This park has a beautiful playground and a large grassy area for play. The cement path around the park is well-maintained, and there is plenty of street parking. There is no fence around the park, though, so keep Fido on a leash!
If your pup needs an off-leash oasis, visit the Dusty Rhodes Off-Leash Dog Park. Just ten minutes west in the heart of San Diego, this park is fully fenced and complete with a large grassy area for romping. There is a bathroom facility for humans and even a doggie water fountain!
For a playdate you can easily walk to, try Pioneer Park. Just one mile west of Hillcrest, this former cemetery is anything but spooky. Complete with ample benches and street parking, Cali natives love this intimate park for its cleanliness and close proximity to local restaurants.
Don’t miss out on all the dog-friendly parks, restaurants, and beaches that this gorgeous San Diego community has to offer!
