I just moved to San Diego from Connecticut, and was looking for for a good way to meet new dogs and explore the area. I’ve had 8 dogs throughout my life, from Rottweiler to Golden Retriever to Shih Tzu, and I used to volunteer at an animal shelter in Connecticut. I’ve been walking dogs for as long as I have been walking myself, and they are by far my favorite creatures!

Hi. I am originally from Texas but have lived in La Jolla for 18 years. My love for animals started at a very young age, as I grew up around horses, cows, goats and plenty of dogs. I have had Great Danes, Beauviers, Labs, German Shepherds, etc. Presently, I have a Havanese, a Maltipoo and a Schnauzer. I don't have kids so my pups are my world and I spoil them rotten. God gave me a special ability to be able to read dogs and make them feel comfortable and at ease. I was a personal trainer and avid runner most of my life, so I really enjoy running, walking and playing with all dogs!

Dog Walking in Spring Valley

Spring Valley is in the Southwestern portion of California. There are a few places and spaces here for you and Fido to enjoy, but for more dog-friendly fun, you'll need to take a short drive into a larger city.

Sarita’s is among one of the only dog-friendly restaurants in Spring Valley. This local restaurant is open for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and has four pet-friendly outdoor tables. You and Fido can chow down on your favorite Mexican dishes here.

For more dog-friendly fun, head into San Diego! Near Mission Bay Park is The Patio on Lamont Street, which offers typical California dishes and much more, like tacos, burgers, and pasta. When you get there, your pupper or doggo will be served a gourmet house-made dog biscuit and a fresh bowl of water! The open-air patio attracts lots of pooches, so reservations are recommended.

The Original Paw Pleasers is San Diego's first dog bakery! They sell fresh baked, preservative-free treats. This location also bakes cakes and ice cream for birthdays! Next door is also a doggy boutique for you and Fido to check out.

In need of a huge park to have a nice run with Fido? Fiesta Island Off-Leash Dog Park is a huge park on a beach. Let your canine companion run or play in the water and just have a grand time.
