Fleming Island is an attractive spot with multiple entertainment venues located a short ride east of Doctors Inlet. All the fun is concentrated around Town Center Boulevard and along 220 County Road, which offer shopping, cinemas, and pet-friendly eateries with exotic and casual cuisine! Grab some Italian-style fare in Your Pie, a dog-friendly and trendy pizzeria serving a variety of dishes to enjoy at the outdoor tables with Fido. If you are looking for an extensive American menu, then Hurricane Grill & Wings -- with outdoor tables for pups -- is your place! Their garlic Parmesan fries are one of the most pawpular treats in Fleming Island!

Black Creek Park and Trail
Black Creek Park and Trail is an expansive recreation area nestled on the banks of Black Creek and St. Johns River in the southern part of Hibernia, off FL-15. This popular park features multiple walking trails and paths for on-leash strolls with Fido, as well as a comfortable and relaxing environment complete with shaded spots and waterfront views. The park is also a great place to embark on a hiking adventure in Clay County. The 8-mile Black Creek Trail stretches from Orange Park to Green Cove Springs in Black Creek Park. The trail parallels U.S. Highway 17, passing through scenic wetlands and forest. Pooches should stay on their leash at all times!

Yukon
Offering relaxing waterfront views, Yukon is a neighborhood in northern Jacksonville. The borough is bordered by Roosevelt Boulevard to the east and features quiet and pleasant residential quarters as well as a few eateries and convenience stores. The fun starts when you enter Tillie K. Flower Regional Park, a beautiful hidden gem at the very northern end of Yukon. This is a wonderful public park with welcoming shaded spots, thriving wildlife, and a special dog park for pups to run off-leash! The park has two separate sections for small and large pooches, benches, drinking water facilities, and plenty of friendly locals!

Mandarin
Located across from Orange Park, on the eastern banks of the St. Johns River, Mandarin is a Jacksonville neighborhood set in the southernmost portion of the city, in Duval County. Featuring a wide variety of small public parks and recreation areas, the place also has a furrific spot for pooches to play and frisk off-leash. Membership is required for visiting, but it's worth it! The 9-acre, off-leash area of the dog park is maintained by the local veterinary clinic, and is a puppy paw-adise! There are two swimming pools for different sized dogs, as well as agility equipment and beautiful walking trails along the hills.

Baymeadows
Baymeadows is a neighborhood in Jacksonville located north of Southside and east of Montclair. Occupying the area between J. Turner Butler Boulevard and State Highway 9, the place is home to multiple residential quarters and private apartments, with shopping and dining areas in the northwestern corner. Here, you will also find Dog Wood Park of Jacksonville, a pawesome park right behind River City Church with a late-night area to have some fun in the evening! There are more than 42 acres of open space, 25 of which are fenced, so your pup has more than enough room to play and sniff out some new friends! This is a membership-only park.
