This includes a playground for the kids, tennis courts, basketball court and a pond with the oppawtunity to fish. If you are visiting Lindsborg and need a place to stay with your furry friend, enjoy the Coronado Motel and RV Park. Here you are welcome to bring a canine of any size for only a small additional fee per night.

S Holmes Rd/ E Crawford St

For a pawsome day out with your pup, jump in the car and head north to Salina! Here you can visit the puptastic Barkley Park, a furrific dog park in town. There are two acres here especially for your canine to run and roam off leash that is all fenced in for save play. There are three separate areas for pups, and benches where you can relax and watch your pooch. In addition, there are dog water fountains for your panting pup, and waste bag dispensers. There is no better place to make new furry friends than at Barkley Park!

W Magnolia Rd/ S 9th St

If you would like to try some dog friendly eateries, head north to the puptown of Salina! Here you will find the pawsome Schlotzsky’s where you can dig into some delicious wraps and flatbreads, as well as pizzas and salads. This puptastic place welcomes pooches and there are six outdoor tables where you can relax. You can also head over to the furrific Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers! Here you can get your paws into some delicious burgers and hot dogs and enjoy a treat for dessert, such as frozen custard or a sundae. Here you will find three outdoor tables where you can spend some time with your pup.

Assaria

For an adventure with your beloved companion, you need to visit the Coronado Heights Park in Assaria! This pawsome place is not far from Lindsborg, and you and your pup can go exploring together and visit the castle at the top. Follow the sniff-tastic trail loops around the base of the park, or make the climb up to the top to enjoy the views from the overlook of the Smokey Hill River Valley. Other amenities at the puptastic Coronado Heights Park include grills for enjoying a treat, as well as picnic tables and restroom facilities.

Kanopolis

One of the best places to bring your canine for some exercise is Kanopolis State Park, which is located in Kanopolis not far from Lindsborg. Here you are welcome to bring your furry friend for some fresh air on the sniff-tastic trails that you can enjoy together, and retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can admire the rolling hills and bluffs, as well as investigate the woods. There is also the oppawtunity to fish here, and you will fine white bass and crappie at Kanopolis Lake. There are also deer, wild turkey and rabbits that are found at Kanopolis State Park.
