Although North Junction City is quite a busy part of town, there are still several pockets of greenery here that provide a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of city life. This is a passive park, filled with grassy meadows, mature woodland and Homers Lake. There is a paved hiking trail that winds its way through the park, giving you and Fido 1.42 miles to explore. Forsyth
The neighborhood of Forsyth in Fort Riley is right next to Junction City, and offers up some pawtastic dog walks.
