I have grown up with pups most of my life. I have a 6 year old rescue mix named Prim who is my joy. A Michigan transplant, I had the pleasure of working for a doggie daycare and boarding facility in my home state. I have walked all sizes and breeds from a less than 3 pound Maltese to a Great Dane weighing in at over 160 pounds. I have fed and helped administer medications for all kinds of pups. My goal is to treat your dog like my very own. I will love and care for them the same way you would.

Dog Walking in Topeka

Take a trip back in time at Old Prairie Town at Ward-Meade Park. The six-acre site was once a family farm but now allows people to experience life in the 1800s. A Victorian-style house, stable, cabin and 2.5-acre botanical garden are just some of the sights to see, and there are many foods to try. Bring your dog along for a day of fun, just make sure he’s well-behaved, on a leash, and you clean up after him (or her!)

Gage Park is a 160-acre park that has something for everyone. Gage Park has an aquatic center, gardens, historic carousel, recreational facilities, Helen Hocker Theater, and a city zoo. While spending a day at Gage Park, visit Bark Park, a park within the park made just for dogs. Dogs can run off-leash in Bark Park, as opposed to being leashed in the main portion of Gage Park. Bark Park has amenities for dogs including water fountains and cleanup stations to keep your furry friend happy and healthy.

If you're making a full visit out of Topeka, make a reservation at either The Senate Luxury Suites or Hyatt Place Topeka. Both are clean, quiet, and have a friendly staff that will be sure to take care of your furry friend, in most cases for no fee.
