You and your leashed pooch will love strolling on the 1.8-mile Soldier Creek Trail that winds through this residential area. The paved pathway is a pawpular spot for dog walking and biking and has furrific views of the trail’s namesake creek. Towards the eastern trail terminus, you and your pup will wind through Garfield Park, where you’ll find lots of shade beneath the mature trees, lush grass, a covered picnic area and a playground. This neighborhood is also where you’ll find Veterans Park.
