This off-leash area isn't fenced in, so be sure your dog has good recall skills before you opt to let them off their leash. The park provides waste bags, and there are shelters and bathrooms nearby too, but remember to bring water for your dog. There are big and small dog sections, and the third section is rotated to ensure the grass has a chance to grow back. From April to October, there are running water fountains on both sides for the dogs, and they also provide visitors with waste clean-up supplies. The city of Leavenworth maintains this free park, and they appreciate any donations from visitors. There is some seating provided in the park, and each side also has a double-gated entry system for added safety.
