When you are in Weston, be sure to visit Bless Park with your pooch! Here there is 10 acres of green space that you can explore with your furry friend, with room to play fetch and enjoy some exercise together. There are also picnic tables where you can hang out and relax. If you get hungry, head to O’Malleys for a bite to eat! Here you can dig into some delicious pub grub and there is a patio and beer garden here that is dog friendly. So, you grab a seat, something tasty from the menu and enjoy some quality time with your beloved companion!

Platte City City Center
If you love to try out new dog friendly eateries with your canine, then you have got to head seven miles from Weston to Platte City! Here you will find the pawsome Mr Goodcents Subs & Pastas where you can grab some delicious sandwiches on fresh-baked bread with a range of meats and toppings to choose from. There are also two outdoor tables where you can sit with your furry friend. For dessert and a treat, head on over to the Dairy Queen! Here you can get yours paws into a sundae or dipped cone. Metropolitan St/ Grant Ave
Just nine miles from Weston, you will find the puptown of Leavenworth! This pawsome place is located over the Missouri River in Kansas and it is home to the puptastic Riverfront Park. This is a furrific place where your canine can enjoy some exercise, and there is plenty of grass for rolling and roaming. Since it is along the shores of the Missouri River, you can enjoy beautiful views and a leisurely stroll with your furry friend when the weather is nice. There is a carpark here that you can use when you are visiting, but be sure to bring some water for your panting pup and treats to keep his or her energy high.

Lewis and Clark Village
If you travel just 13 miles from Weston to the Lewis and Clark Village, you will find the pawsome Lewis and Clark State Park! This is a beautiful place to bring your furry friend for a wander around, since pups are welcome on the sniff-tastic trails here. Observe the wildlife and birds that live here, such as geese, eagles, snowy egrets and swans that take advantage of the lake here. Other furrific amenities that you can use here include picnic shelters, tables and restrooms. All pups are welcome at Lewis and Clark State Park, as long as he or she remains on leash during your visit.
Bain City/ U of Saint Mary
For an adventure with your canine, jump in the car and head 13 miles from Weston to the puptown of Leavenworth! Here you will find the puptastic Waggin Tails Dog Park where your pup can enjoy some exercise and playtime off leash. There are six acres of land that is fully fenced in for save play, with separate areas for small pups and larger canines. There are waste disposal bags provided at the Waggin Tails Dog Park in case you furgot your own, but be sure to bring some fresh water for your panting pup after all that fun in the sun!
