This pawsome community park has tons of open grass where you and your leashed pup can stretch your legs, romp and play. Check out the neighborhood’s largest park, Gwendolyn Brooks Park, where you’ll find verdant grass and trees. This furrific green space is a woofderful place to walk your leashed dog, or simply grab a seat under a shady tree and hang out with Fido. Gwendolyn Brooks Park also has a playground where kiddos can romp and a picnic area with tables and a grill. A few blocks to the northwest, you’ll find Croix Park. There are a huge mature trees spaced throughout the park where you and your pooch can take a break and relax in the shade, too.
