Fido is welcome to try a little bite of your bacon-maple scone at the Paramour Coffee's outdoor seating area. Space is limited, so remember that the early bird gets the worm!

Northwestern Wamego

Sleeping overnight in Wamego? Then take Fido to the Northwestern Wamego neighborhood, where you both are welcome to ruff and snore at the local Wamego Inn & Suites. Ideally located from Wamego's downtown district and historic attractions, the Wamego Inn & Suites offers you and your pup both pawtastic comfort and convenience. Stay up to 6 nights with Fido (or maximum two pups) at no additional charge. If Wamego Inn & Suites is booked full for the Tulip Festival, the nearby Simmer Motel is another great pup-friendly pawption. At the Simmer Motel, pups of any size are allowed for an extra small fee per pooch, per stay. If you're looking for a leisurely stay, Northwestern Wamego has got you covered.

Midwest Wamego

If you're looking to escape the lively, yet often crowded downtown area in Wamego, then take Fido for a walk heading west to the residential Midwest Wamego neighborhood. Spend your morning exploring with Fido at the less-known Pennyland Park. This city park offers you and yor pup the pawfect setting to take a leisurely stroll on the paved walking trail, or play a fun game of frisbee or fetch on the grassy area nearby the park's disc golf course (no dogs allowed on the course itself). Make sure to follow leash rules when walking with Fido in the city parks and clean up after any waste.

South County

If you're traveling between Wamego and Manhattan, or just want to diversify where you stay, head to the South County neighborhood located on the outskirts of the city of Manhattan for a furrific experience staying at the Lazy T Ranch Guest House. The SoPo neighborhood on the outskirts of Manhattan offers you and Fido (especially Fido) the fun of running and romping around off-leash at the local Fairmont Dog Park. This fenced in dog park is the pawfect place to bring Fido when he needs to burn off all that extra energy. An agility course offers a place for your pup to show off his skills in front of his new furiends. If you want to spend more time with Fido with leash in hand, a pleasant walking trail sits just behind the dog park. Keep an eye on smaller pups less than 10lbs, as owners have noted accidental escapes due to the square fencing. Make sure to pick up after your pooch and don't forget to have a wooftacular time!
