El Dorado City Center
For a fun day in the sun with your canine, head to Graham Park in El Dorado! This is a five acre park in town where you can let your furry friend run and roam on the grass. There are also puptastic amenities here, including picnic tables, a shelter, play structure and a spray park for the kids. When your stomach starts to growl, head to Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers! Here you can dig into some burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs, as well as tasty treats like frozen custard and sundaes. There are also outdoor tables here where your beloved companion can join you and watch the world go by.

Every pup needs some playtime and exercise, which means that when you are in El Dorado, you have got to head to Gordy Park! This pawsome two acre park has a walking path you can wander around and grass for your pooch to explore. There are also picnic tables and basketball courts that you can use, as well as a play structure for the kids. If you are visiting the puptown of El Dorado and are looking for a pawsome dog friendly place to stay, check in to the Inn of El Dorado! Here you can bring a furry friend of any size for only a small additional fee per night.

You can have a puptastic time with your beloved companion over at East Park in El Dorado! This is a pawsome green spot in town where you can relax at the picnic tables and enjoy a treat, or take a leisurely stroll around the pond with your pup. There is a play structure for the kids, as well as horseshoe pits and a baseball diamond. If you get hungry, drop by Jacob’s Well. Here you can get your paws into some delicious sandwiches and wraps, as well as soups and salads. Of course, you can also order a coffee so that you can keep up with your pooch! There are outdoor tables here where you can sit with your canine.

To retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, visit the El Dorado State Park with your furry friend! This is the largest state park in Kansas, which means there is lots to explore with your canine, including some sniff-tastic nature trails. You can go boating and fish in the El Dorado Reservoir, and can find largemouth bass and crappie here. All pups are welcome at El Dorado State Park, as long as they remain on leash during your visit. Just be sure to bring some water and treats to keep your canine’s energy high when you are out exploring.

There is nowhere more fun for many pups than the dog park! Not far from El Dorado, you will find the pawsome Firethorne Residential Dog Park in the puptown of Wichita! Here you can let your beloved companion exercise and play off leash inside a safe and fenced in area. There are waste bins here to keep the place tidy, and special dog water fountain for your panting pooch. There is also a shelter provided for some shade. There is no better place in town for making new furry friends than at the furiendly Firethorne Residential Dog Park!
