There is also a walking path that winds right around the park, as well as plenty of trees that provide shade when it is hot outside. If you are visiting Arkansas City and are looking for a pawsome dog friendly place to stay for the night, check in to the Super 8! Here you are welcome to bring furry friends of any size for only a small additional fee per night.

S Summit St/ E Tyler Ave

For an adventure with your canine, head on over to the Kaw Wildlife Area when you are in Arkansas City! This is a furrific place for some outdoor fun since there is over 4,300 acres of land here you can explore. You can retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city here, and your pooch will love to investigate all of the new sights and smells of nature! There is also fishing allowed here, and you will find catfish and white bass. In addition, hunting is allowed in Kaw Wildlife Area, so keep your pup leashed and close during season.

Arkansas City City Center

When your pooch has been a good boy or girl, you have got to enjoy a trip to Paris Park when you are in Arkansas City! Here you will find lots of grass for your canine to roll and roam, as well as trees that provide shade when it is hot. There is also a walking path where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll with your pup. In addition, there are lots of puptastic amenities here that you can use. This includes two tennis courts, a playground for the kids to enjoy, picnic shelters for a treat and restroom facilities.

A pawsome park you have got to visit when you are in Arkansas City has got to be Wilson Park! Here your furry friend will love to roam around the grass, and there is also a walking path where you can enjoy some exercise. With plenty of trees which will provide some much-need shade when it gets hot outside, you can enjoy the other furrific amenities at Wilson Park. This includes six tennis courts, play structures for the kids, rest room facilities, pavilions and picnic shelters where you can rest and enjoy a treat.

Hackney/ Rainbow Bend

To go on an adventure with your furry friend, jump in the car and head north to the next door puptown of Winfield! Here you will find the pawsome Lions Park where your canine can enjoy some exercise and playtime. You can let your beloved companion run and roam on the on the grass, or take a stroll on the walking path. There are some trees that provide shade on hot and sunny days, and puptastic playgrounds here that the kids will love. There are also restroom facilities at Lions Park for your convenience. Do bring a bowl for water for your thirsty pup.
