Marysville
Directly adjacent to Saint Clair is the Marysville neighborhood of Marysville, and this is home to a park that your pooch will definitely love. The Marysville Municipal Park sprawls out for 58 acres, and is filled with grassy lawns and mature trees. In addition to the beautiful landscaping, the park is also home to a number of different facilities, including a playground, sports courts, baseball fields, pavilions, picnic areas and a splash pad. What your pooch will love the most is the paved walking path that snakes its way through the park, making it easy for you and Fido to explore everything around you.

Belle River
Less than a mile from Saint Clair is the neighborhood of Belle River in Marine City, and this neighborhood is known for its spectacular waterfront views. If your pooch loves the water, then this is the neighborhood to go to, as this is where you can access the Belle River Route Water Trail. This water trail consists of a 14.5 mile section of the beautiful Belle River, with a boat launch to make it easy for you and Fido to begin your kayaking adventure. The two of you will float past everything from bridges and fields to woodlands and residential areas, taking you all the way into Marine City.

Electric Ave
About five miles from Saint Clair is the Port Huron neighborhood of Electric Ave, and there are a couple of parks within walking distance of each other here for you and Fido to check out. The largest is Lincoln Park, which is at its most scenic during the summer months, when the rose and perennial gardens are in full bloom. There are a couple of sports facilities here, as well as a playground, picnic areas, and large grassy lawns, making it easy to see why this is a popular spot for festivals and other special events. Just across the road is the smaller South Park, which consists of a large field that is pawfect for a quick dog walk.

Roberts Landing/ Starville
Roberts Landing/ Starville in Marine City is about eight miles from Saint Clair, and the journey is worth it because this is where you will find the Algonac State Park. There are 1500 acres for you and your pup to explore here, along with half a mile of the St. Clair River, with plenty of viewpoints to watch the freighters go by. The park offers a few recreational activities, such as archery, trap shooting and camping, and there are several picnic spots dotted around the grounds too. For nature lovers, this park is quite the haven, as there is so much natural diversity to be seen here, with everything from prairie plants to rare birds and butterflies calling this park their home.
South Port Huron (Town South)
South Port Huron in Port Huron is about a ten minute drive from Saint Clair, and this neighborhood offers up a couple of dog-friendly activities that you and Fido will love. Begin your day with a stroll around White Park, where you will find a basketball court, a playground, and a large grassy field surrounded by trees. There is a paved path that loops its way around and through the park, which is pawfect for a leisurely stroll with your pooch. After walking up an appetite, stop off at the Raven Cafe for a bite to eat. This dog-friendly restaurant is situated in a beautiful historic building, and serves up a delicious array of food and drink.
