This 400-acre forest is maintained by a non-profit that seeks to educate the public on preserving and appreciating nature. There are 6 different trails to wander through, with varying degrees of difficulty and span over 7 miles. Each trail has scenic views, some of which overlook the Hudson River. The center of attraction is a 20-meter tall obelisk which commemorates soldiers who passed of influenza during World War I.
