Paramus
Paramus is located five miles south of Oradell. Van Saun County Dog Park is located within the 146-acre main County Park. This park has a zoo, a playground, picnic areas and a fishing lake. A 1.5-mile trail encircles the lake and gives a person and a leashed pup a chance to get some quality exercise time together. The highlight, though, for a pup will be a visit to the dog park within Van Saun. This dog park has two fully fenced enclosures. A separately fenced area keeps the small pups safe as they play. The ground in the dog park is covered with a fine gravel which makes for some clean paws even on a rainy day. No water is immediately available, but restrooms are just a short walk away. Waste stations keep waste baggies on hand for convenient pick-ups.36

E Ridgewood Ave
Ridgewood is located five miles west of Oradell. Ridgewood Bark Park gives a pup a chance to shed that leash and sniff out a few new furry buddies. This pawesome playground for pooches has two enclosures for running and playing with canine pals. The entrance has a double gate so an excited pup doesn't take a wrong turn and end up getting lost. The ground here is a mixture of grass, dirt, and a gray mulch -- oh so many fine smells for those discriminating nostrils! A few pieces of agility equipment make this an extra fun place for a pup to visit. Pet parents appreciate the mature trees and can find a comfy bench from which to supervise their four-legged pals.24

Borough Center
Leonia is located nine miles south of Oradell. The Overpeck Park Dog Run has so much to make a pup wag a tail about! This dog park has a large dog enclosure and a separately fenced space reserved for small dogs. The ground is a snifftastic cover of grass and dirt. Agility equipment, including tunnels and ramps, add to this park's amusements. Water is not available at the dog park, so make sure to bring your own. People appreciate the many benches positioned under large mature shade trees. The main park has five miles of walking trails to explore with your leashed canine companion. A 1.25 figure-eight path beside the lake is a great way to end a day together.12

Riverside Avenue East
Lyndhurst is located sixteen miles south of Oradell. Riverside County Dog Park offers pups a place to run and socialize free of the leash. This dog park has two areas -- one for large dogs and one for smaller pups. The dog park has drinking water for pups and their people as well as water bowls. A hose helps rinse off those dirty dogs and gives hot hounds a cool-down on a summer day. The gravel mulch keeps dogs clean. A few gray smudges on a wet nose is a small price to pay for such pawesome fun! Pup parents have numerous benches in the shade.
