Saddle River Area Bike Path, with an access point at Ridgewood Avenue, has about six miles of asphalt trail for a leashed walk. This dedicated multi-use trail runs along the very scenic Saddle River and Ho-Ho-Kus Brook. The entire stretch encompasses five linear parks of some 550+ acres. This trail extends into some neighboring municipalities, including Ridgewood and Glen Rock. The Saddle River Area Bike Path is one of over 1,600 rail-trails nationwide which were converted into walking paths from abandoned railroad corridors.
