“Dog walking is no job - it's a passion!”

Hi there! I have been walking dogs in Hoboken, NJ for 4 years now, which I absolutely love! I have had an endearing love for dogs since 2001 when my parents finally gave into the many pleas of my two younger brothers and I to get us a dog. We were introduced to Tiki, a magnificent Black Labrador, who became the sister we never had.

Dog Walking in Midland Park

Midland Park has fewer than ten thousand residents. Though small, Midland Park has numerous opportunities and activities for people with a canine companion. People have no need to worry about their furry family member's health needs while living in or visiting Midland Park. Three veterinary clinics operate in town and take care of most routine and emergency needs. Larger communities nearby offer all kinds of veterinary care.

You'll also find three dog-friendly restaurants right in town. Hot Dog Caboose is an interesting little lunch restaurant located on Greenwood Avenue. This retired caboose refashioned into a restaurant serves up hot dogs and sausages. Three outdoor tables make you and your pup feel right at home. Fiona's Ristorante on Godwin Avenue has Italian cuisine. Ten outdoor tables situated on a wrap-around porch make this a popular watering hole for lunch and dinner. Pizzaiolo, also on Godwin Avenue, serves pizza and a variety of Italian sandwiches and entrees. Six dog-friendly tables welcome you and your furry dining companion.

Midland Park does not have any of its own municipal parks. However,  Bergen County offers a wide range of recreational activities for its residents. Many well-maintained parks complete with plenty of recreational opportunities are just a short drive away. Ramapo Valley County Reservation is one of the biggest parks in Bergen County. It has over 4,000 acres for a person and a leashed pup to get out and visit. Ramapo includes over two dozen trails of varying lengths and difficulties. Camping and access to the Ramapo River make this park beautiful scenic place for a person and a leashed pup to explore.

Parsippany is twenty-four miles west of Midland Park and is home to Cameron Dog Park. A large stretch of grass makes it possible for dogs to run with noses and tails held high in the wind. Smells good! Feels great!  The terrain in the dog park is a bit uneven, so the human folk need to take care if they want to keep up. The dog park has a separately fenced enclosure which keeps the small dogs safe. Water is supplied in the dog park. More shade and a few benches would make people feel a tad more comfortable while their furry pals play. This is a membership-only park. A small fee must be paid to the city prior to visiting.

South Mountain Dog Park has a beautifully landscaped dog park that offers a small and large dog enclosure for a woof-wonderful outdoor experience for your furry friend. It offers water fountains for dogs and people to drink from.  A hose lets a person rinse off a pal after a hard day of play. A pebbled surface of small gray rocks helps people spot those piles, and waste stations make keeping the place tidy a breeze. Large rocks give people extra things to sit on. Doggos have a variety of agility equipment including ramps, A-frames, and tunnels to make the play more interesting.
