Arbor Hill
Right in the heart of Albany is the Arbor Hill neighborhood, which is about 24.5 miles from East Berne, and located along the Hudson River. Here, you can hop on the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail, which is one of the trails in the Rails-to-Trails organization. The trail stretches almost 280 miles and goes through 13 counties in New York! This piece of it will give you and your dog a relaxing outdoor outing right along the peaceful Hudson.
