Albany has a few areas that are perfect for pooches. Several of the downtown Albany restaurants offer gorgeous outdoor patios fit for you and your pup that overlook the Hudson River, like Dawn’s Victory Sports Café. Schenectady is around 18 miles from East Berne. The town recently passed legislation that allows dogs to dine with their owners on outdoor restaurant patios! If that’s not enough of a draw for dog owners, the Central Park Dog Playground might be. The park is continuously undergoing renovations and improvements with the help of residents to make it the most pawtastic dog park in the area.
