Arapaho Drive

Arapaho Drive

Arapaho Drive is an active community and a beautiful area. To the east is Champlin Park, a lovely area with walking trails and trees for shade during the day. However, Champlin Park is far from quiet. Bordering Enid’s busiest intersection, this park is not the place for dogs easily spooked or excited by passing cars. For a quieter area, there’s Weldon Park at the western end of the neighborhood. This park is home to a small quantity of wildlife, so be sure your dogs are leashed before you take them in. There are no set trails here, but the grassy area is beautiful and easy enough to walk around.

The park even comes complete with a waterfall, which is something you don’t usually see on the prairie! Located just north is Don Haskins Park, a lovely grassy area with room for your pup to burn off all that puppy energy! Whichever park you go to, you and your dog are sure to have a blast.

West Randolph Avenue

West Randolph Avenue

West Randolph is a friendly place and an open community. Located right next to both Hoover Park and La Mesa Park, there’s plenty for dog owners to do. Hoover Park is a lovely area that has a field big enough for pleasant strolls and a splash park for those hot summer days. La Mesa Park is a little more local, and therefore isn’t quite as large.  Despite this, its sports field and gorgeous green stretches are still a lovely place place for walks and are sure to be a hit with every dog. Being local, both these parks are a great way to get to know your neighbors! Your pup will love making new friends along the way.
