Wesleyville
McClelland Park is a great place to walk your dog. There are plenty of trails that wind through this large park. The real gem is inside, however: Larry R. Fabrizi Dog Park! This off-leash dog park has two areas, one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. While the interior of the fenced areas are a little plain, they make up for that by being large and extremely popular! Dogs who love to make new friends will adore Larry R. Fabrizi Dog Park! If your dog gets tired of being social, just leash back up and walk the McClelland Park trails again!

Harborcreek
Six Mile Creek Park in Harborcreek is a great place to bring dogs you really want to tire out. Despite the name, there’s a lot more than six miles to explore in this 400-acre park. The park is mostly undeveloped; though there are many clear trails, they don’t have the manicured appearance of some other places. The terrain is varied, with flat near the creek and hill climbing steeply the further you get away from it. The park is very open, so it’s up to you how far you go and how difficult the journey is. Just keep your dog on leash!

Presque Isle State Park
The only drawback to this park is that, like most state parks, dogs have to be on leash inside of it. Otherwise, Presque Isle State Park may be the most pawsome place dogs can visit. This park combines hiking and walking trails with beach-front access. It borders directly on Lake Erie, giving lots of beaches for pups to play on. The hiking trails through wooded areas top 13 miles! Whether your dog loves to lounge in the sand or hit the trail, Presque Isle State Park is the place to go--and the drive is only 5 minutes from Erie, PA!
