“A walk a day keeps the vet away.”

I am an animal lover and have a dog and cat of my own. I enjoy all kinds of dogs and love to go on long walks with my own. I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life. I had a cocker spaniel for 15 years and have had my current dog for almost 9. I don’t think I could ever not have an animal in the house. Built in best friend.

Dog Walking in Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach is located on the East Coast of South Carolina, and has long been known as a popular vacation destination. This coastal town sits in the center of a large stretch of beach known as Grand Strands in South Carolina which welcomes your dog to get a little sandy. Myrtle Beach is also home to 18 different veterinarians that your dog can see for a checkup.

Though Myrtle Beach is known for its beaches, it does offer some amazing parks that you and Fido can take a walk in. Futrell Park is close to the coast and features a pond, while Horry County Bike and Run Park is perfect for a walk. If your dog is looking to escape the beach, then Yow Park is for him since it takes you out of the beach and places you into a beautiful park filled with lush trees and plants. Your dog will think he is roaming a forest in this pawsome getaway!

Since Myrtle Beach is a tourist town, there is a plethora of great hotels that the two of you can stay at together between adventures. Check into Patricia Grand Resort Hotel, La Quinta Inn and Suites Myrtle Beach, or Doubletree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront for some great options on places to stay that allow your dog to stay with you.
