If you're feeling hungry, cross the street to Mavericks Java to get a sandwich or pastry, which you can tuck into at one of their outdoor picnic tables.

About 9 miles west of Ocean Isle Beach, this 10-acre park features an amphitheater, playground, pavilion, community garden, and walking trails. There are also ample snifftastic, grassy areas that any canine will enjoy. During the summer, the Mulberry Street Park hosts a weekly farmers market, so you can also pick up some local produce and handcrafted goods while you're there.
