Near the very bottom of Florida is Key Biscayne, an island town located in Miami-Dade County. Just south of Miami Beach, the island is connected to the mainland via a 5.5-mile long bridge. The residents of Key Biscayne humbly refer to their town as an “island paradise.”

But this island paradise isn’t just fun for humans; it’s also fun for your canine companions! Key Biscayne has over ten dog-friendly restaurants, and there’s also a dog park. The island is even home to a veterinarian office, but if you have an emergency and need care for your dog in the middle of the night, you’ll have to make the drive up to Miami or Miami Beach. Key Biscayne has beautiful views while going for a walk, so even just an everyday walk around the block can be exciting. If you’re looking to have some fun in the sun with your best four-legged pal in tow, make sure to check out Key Biscayne!
