East Lynne, Missouri is a small town that owes its existence to the rail line. It was at a crossroad for exchange, which made it an invaluable commodity. It has a history of fires. Several years in a row saw the city get just about wiped out. It was the businessmen that rolled up their sleeves and moved the debris. They helped each other rebuild homes. The community rebuilt the schools and the church. Today, East Lynne, Missouri thrives because of the two banks and a strong school system.

While you are visiting, you could stay at one of the three pet-friendly hotels within the city limits. You can take a walk down the charming country roads and head right for the town square. You will find that there is always something going on here. This is a city that loves its pets. East Lynne has three vets, which says a lot since they only have one restaurant!
