“A walk goes a long way in the language of doggy!”

My husband and I have two fur-babies, an adorable Basenji mix named Fenn, and a goofy kitty named Vader. I worked at an animal hospital for a year before deciding the medical field wasn't right for me, but animals were! I've worked in the pet industry for over three years and volunteered at Kansas City Pet Project at their main shelter. I strive to understand them, and know they all have different personalities, just like we do! A pocket full of treats never hurts, either:)

“Active dog lover with 3+ years Wag! experience.”

Hello, I'm Emily! My family had pets of various kinds, and as kids we were expected to be very involved in their care. I've volunteered at animal shelters in both Columbia and Independence, MO, and worked as a graduate assistant on a pet-friendly college campus where I assisted students with being responsible pet owners. My chihuahua/rat terrier mix is the love of my life, and I can't wait to meet more dogs in the area!

I am a life long animal lover, as a kid I was known to bring home any stray dog or cat I came across, I can't walk through the dog park without stopping at every dog I see to ask if I can love on each one that goes by. I have run a non profit that provides therapy to people through miniature equine therapy so my love of animals stretches from dogs, to horses, to cats, basically all animals big and small. I was a dog groomer in my younger years and I am now happy to be the dog mama to two small dogs of my own. I am a positive, upbeat, responsible, caring person who can't wait to love on your babies as well. I have had a dog my entire life and a few cats, I am also a horse trainer, so animals have always been a huge part of my life, I see them as a source of love and comfort and they are absolutely a part of my family. I look forward to caring for your pets as if they were my own. Thanks Kate

Dog Walking in East Lynne

East Lynne, Missouri is a small town that owes its existence to the rail line. It was at a crossroad for exchange, which made it an invaluable commodity. It has a history of fires. Several years in a row saw the city get just about wiped out. It was the businessmen that rolled up their sleeves and moved the debris. They helped each other rebuild homes. The community rebuilt the schools and the church. Today, East Lynne, Missouri thrives because of the two banks and a strong school system.

While you are visiting, you could stay at one of the three pet-friendly hotels within the city limits. You can take a walk down the charming country roads and head right for the town square. You will find that there is always something going on here. This is a city that loves its pets. East Lynne has three vets, which says a lot since they only have one restaurant! All of their outdoor family events are pet-friendly as well as kid-friendly. The best part is that the city has a DJ service that loves karaoke, and you can even catch an impromptu karaoke concert on some nights. What are you waiting for? Get your dog on stage and sing!
