South Leawood

South Leawood

Leawood is home to its very own dog park, and it's open every day from 6 AM to 10 PM. This puntastic, picturesque dog park is known as Leawoof Dog Park, and it has a wood-rail fence surrounding it. Leawoof is separated into little and big dog sections. In the big dog section, there is some agility equipment where your pooch can show off her skills! There are doggy water fountains in the park, and doggy bags are provided for visitors as well. Leawoof Dog Park sits along a series of wooded trails, and you and your dog can explore these trails on-leash if you wish!

Stoll Park Center

Stoll Park Center

The neighborhood of Stoll Park Center in western Overland Park, Kansas, is about a 15-minute drive from Leawood. This is where you'll find the Thomas S. Stoll Memorial Park, a 79-acre public park with plenty of sports fields, a playground, and fishing facilities. Even better, there's a dog park that takes up seven acres of the park! This dog park is wooded and fenced in, but not divided into big and small dog sections, so dogs of all sizes play together. Visitors love how much parking is available at this park, and your dog can join you in other areas of the park if they're leashed.
