This 18-acre facility has a walking trail that wanders around the lake, past the tennis courts, and around the playgrounds. Enjoy the beautiful landscaping while you hike or jog along the path. You can also bring along a rod and reel and try your hand at fishing while your pup rests by your side. The small neighborhood of 80th Terrace includes a ten-acre park where you and Fido can enjoy some outdoor activity. Take a stroll or jog along the walking trails that pass by Southwood Elementary School and loop around the fields and tennis courts of Minor Smith Park. Little Blue Valley is on the eastern border of Raytown. This sprawling neighborhood provides ample opportunities to explore nature with your pup. Start at Little Blue Trace Park and walk through the fields and along the Little Blue River. Head to the north side of the park and continue into Little Blue Valley Park. Wander through the undeveloped marshy area with your special pal. Together, these two green spaces offer over 125 acres of land where you and your pup can get some exercise and experience the outdoors. Dogs are allowed in these areas as long as you keep them on a leash and pick up after them.
