Spring Hill
Grab your pup and visit one of Spring Hill’s puptacular parks in the town’s namesake neighborhood! The area is home to Blackhawk Park, a four-acre green space with ample room for playtime with your leashed pooch! This furrific neighborhood park has a lovely stand of lush trees, and plenty of shady spots where you and Fido can chill out and enjoy the day. There’s also a paved walking path that loops around a small pond with a fountain. The water sounds make this an especially relaxing place to visit with your furry friend. Kiddos love this park for its playground, and there’s also picnic tables and a charcoal grill.

Spring Hill North
You and your four-legged friend will be feeling woofderful after your visit to the Spring Hill North neighborhood! This area has five parks to visit with your leashed dog! First stop, City Park, where you and your doggo will have plenty of room to roam and romp in this park that takes up an entire city block! Dotted with trees, the park’s huge lawn is perfect for play or training with your pup. Nearby, Friendship Park has a playground where two-legged children can let off some steam, and a large field and walking path where you and Fido can do the same. This neighborhood is also where you’ll find the Celia Dayton Park, Melvin Murray Park and Aquatic Center Park.

Old Hwy 56/ S Parker St
Lace up your sneakers, clip on Fido’s leash and get ready for a puptacular visit to this Olathe neighborhood, about six miles from Spring Hill! This neighborhood is home to several woofderful parks, but the biggest and most beautiful area, Lone Elm Park, is conveniently located on the south end of the neighborhood, closest to Spring Hill! At 155 acres, you and your pup will have plenty of room to have your own adventure! There’s a .7-mile walking path, interpretive learning signs, beautiful stone picnic pavilions and breathtaking flowers in the spring and summer! South Hampton
If you and your furry friend are looking for a quality jaunt, head to Olathe’s South Hampton neighborhood, about eight miles from Spring Hill. There, you can access the eight-mile Indian Creek Trail! You and your leashed dog will love strolling this paved multiuse trail that meanders through quiet and pleasant residential developments all the way to Hampton Park. This five-acre pristine community green space is a pawpular spot for walkers with dogs and children, as there’s more stroller-friendly pathway that makes a loop around the park with an additional loop around the playground. There’s also benches and a picnic area at this furrific park.

W 151st St/ S Greenwood St
Load up your pup and get ready for some pawsome off-leash fun in this neighborhood in Olathe! About 10 miles from Spring Hill, this 1,238-acre park is where you and Fido will find the Heritage Park Dog Off-Leash Area, a 30-acre furry fun zone! Fully fenced-in, this dog park is heaven for pups that love to socialize and explore wide open spaces. There are huge grassy fields and hillsides with trees and shrubs, plus a beautiful pond where your furry friend can dip their toes in and splash around. It’s a woofderful natural setting for some quality off-leash time with Fido! For some furrific leashed fun, check out the walking trails that meander through the rest of Heritage Park, or visit the neighborhood’s 80-acre Black Bob Park.
