This park is free to use, but they greatly appreciate any and all donations to help with the upkeep of the park. Within this one-acre park, there are separate sections for big and small dogs that each have different entrances as well. The West Milford Dog Park has a few pieces of agility equipment, and there is water available just across the parking lot. This dog park is attached to the Pequannock Feed and Pet Supply Store so you can also stock up on everything your pet needs after your trip to the park!

There's another great dog park less than 30 miles away from Wallington in Woodbridge, New Jersey. The Woodbridge Dog Park is located in East Woodbridge, and it has separate areas for dog breeds of different sizes. You'll also find everything else you could ever need or want for a fun trip to the dog park, including water, seating, shade, agility equipment, parking, and waste bags. This dog park is located within Alvin Williams Memorial Park where there are often concerts and other community events. If you head to the park on a hot day, you and your dog will love the cool breeze that comes from the nearby waterfront.

Jersey City, New Jersey is less than a half-hour drive from Wallington. In the Lincoln Park area of west Jersey City, there's an excellent dog run. The Lincoln Park Dog Run is found within Lincoln Park, a popular city park with amenities to please the whole family. The dog run has a separate small section for little dogs, and all parts are entirely fenced in. In the summer, you'll find kiddie pools in the dog park that are filled up by an adorable fire hydrant in the park. Surrounding the dog run, there are plenty of trails where you can take Fido for an on-leash walk after they romp around at the park.

Ridgewood, New Jersey is only 12 miles from Wallington. In east Ridgewood, you'll find the Ridgewood Dog Park in the Saddle River County Park. This dog park is fence -in with isolated big and small dog areas. The Ridgewood Dog Park has a gravel surface so you won't have to worry about super muddy paws. Within the actual off-leash area there is no seating, but just beyond the fence, there are benches where you can relax, and you'll often spot locals dog-watching there. There's a pond outside of the fenced-in area of the park, and both dogs and people like to take a dip here to cool off on hot days.
Overpeck County Park

Overpeck County Park

The Overpeck County Park sits on 805 acres of land, and it's only eight miles from Wallington, in Leonia, New Jersey. Within the Overpeck County Park is the Overpeck Park Dog Run. This dog run has big and small dog sections, and the whole park is fenced in with sturdy gates. In the little dog section, there's a fire hydrant that's an excellent spot to get a paw-parazzi shot of your pup, and there are also concrete tunnels throughout the park for dogs to run through. Be sure to bring your own water and waste bags when you visit this park.
