In the town of St. Johnsville, 12 miles south of Dolgeville, Soldiers and Sailors Park is the place to be with your fur-ever friend. Plan to take a blanket to stretch out on the open, grassy areas or take your pup for a relaxing stroll throughout. There are many memorial benches scattered along the paved path, where you can sit and enjoy the park. A playground facility is on site for the kiddies as well as sports fields where Fido is welcome to roam on an extended leash. Be sure to bring clean up mitts to keep this park pup-friendly.36

Pup-friendly opportunities are in the South Little Falls neighborhood, in the city of Little Falls, 8 miles southwest of Dolgeville.
