“Dog walking is no job - it's a passion!”
Hi there! I have been walking dogs in Hoboken, NJ for 4 years now, which I absolutely love! I have had an endearing love for dogs since 2001 when my parents finally gave into the many pleas of my two younger brothers and I to get us a dog. We were introduced to Tiki, a magnificent Black Labrador, who became the sister we never had.

The borough of Lincoln Park offers a variety of activities and places to visit. One veterinary clinic takes care of most of your dog's routine and emergency needs. The charming community of about 10,000 residents has dedicated many of its green spaces for public use. It has nine spots set aside where you and your leashed friend can get out and get some fresh air. All nine parks come with playground equipment and some space to move in.
Aqueduct Park has a nice large green area with many trees, a picnic, and a pavilion site. Remember to bring bags to clean up after your dog -- you might get a ticket if you leave behind any messes. A drive of just eight miles south to Cedar Grove will take you and your furry pal to Cedar Grove and Mills Reservation. Mills has 158 acres of ground set aside for conservation and recreational use. Hikers with hounds can explore four major trails which wind throughout scenic forest. One hike involves a steep climb to an overlook where the skyline of New York City is visible on clear days. Hikers are rewarded for the effort with a bench atop the overlook and get a chance to enjoy the view.
Parsippany is located nine miles south of Lincoln Park. A trip to Cameron Dog Park will put a bit of spunk back into your couch pup-tato! This fully fenced play area is an opportunity for your pooch to get out and run through the large field of grass leash-free. Smaller pups are treated to their own safe area. The field here runs along a hill and the ground is uneven in spots. Some people, especially those with mobility problems, need to take care navigating it. Drinking water is available within the dog park. Waste stations supply doggie waste baggies. Prior registration with the city is required to use the dog park.
Montclair is located eleven miles east of Lincoln Park. Brookdale Dog Park barks out to pups needing some exercise with other furry four-legged pals. This dog park features two completely fenced-in areas for dogs to run and mingle with other canines. A smaller space keeps those smaller pups safe as they find a similar size pal. The surface of the dog park is gravel mulch. This surface can be a blessing after a rain -- no muddy paws to contend with here! Drinking water is immediately available for all. Plenty of pieces of agility equipment add to the chance to exercise and maybe sharpen some competitive skills. People can sit back on one of many shaded benches.
Lyndhurst is located fourteen miles east of Lincoln Park, and this cozy community is home to Riverside County Park. This large county park runs along the Passaic River. A leashed stroll along the river with plenty of chances for a human companion to sit and relax makes for some laid-back exercise. The real destination your pup craves, though, is the Riverside County Dog Park. Yes, there is a play place for your pup in this park! It is fully fenced so your pup can shed that leash. A reserved area is set aside if your pup is a smaller size. This dog park is covered with a gravel mulch. A water tap and hose are conveniently available here. Pet parents appreciate the many shaded benches.
Lewis Morris Park is located sixteen miles south of Lincoln Park. Lewis Morris Dog Park is the right place for a pup needing a day away from the house. This dog park offers two fully fenced enclosures for pups to play. One section is dedicated to the smaller pups. The ground here is paved with a few patches of grass sticking through. Some of the human companions complain about the harder surface, but pups don't seem to mind much. The dog park is situated amid many large trees, and shade abounds in those hot summer months. A few benches give people a place from which to supervise and pick up after their pups. Waste baggies are supplied in the dog park.
Ridgewood is located eighteen miles north of Lincoln Park. Ridgewood Dog Park offers pups the opportunity to shed that leash and romp with some canine companions! This fully fenced enclosure has a separately fenced area for small dogs. A double-gated entrance is a safe parlor for entry and exit. The surface is a mixture of grass, dirt, and mulch. Pups can get dirty having fun here, but a dirty dog is a happy dog! A few pieces of agility are a bonus. Beautiful old shade trees make the space comfortable in those hot summer months. A leashed stroll around the duck pond gives the human companion a bit of a stretch too.
