Marshall Hill

West Milford is a thirteen-mile journey north from Riverdale. You and your pup could pick up some food and/or treats at Pequannock Feed & Supply Store. This store sells all the commodities a person with a pup could pawssibly need! More importantly, the store operates the West Milford Dog Park on its property. This dog park is free and open to the public. Dogs may safely play off-leash in this completely fenced acre of ground. A separate section of the space is set aside for the smaller dogs. The ground here is a plot of natural terrain -- smells great and feels fine on those paws! It can be muddy at times, though. The dog park provides water on-site. Donations are appreciated.

Upper Montclair

Montclair is located fifteen miles south of Riverdale. A trip to Brookdale Dog Park will make any pup's day! This pup paradise attracts dogs of all breeds and sizes. The spacious enclosure includes an area for safer small-dog playtime. The ground here is a clean gravel mulch -- no fuss with mud like many of the other parks! A pup looking for a new adventure can sample one of the many pieces of agility equipment, including ramps and tunnels.  Drinking water is available, and waste stations provided waste baggies for those necessary pickups. Human companions will appreciate the opportunity to watch their pup from one of the many shaded benches.

E Ridgewood Ave

Ridgewood is located sixteen miles east of Riverdale. Ridgewood Dog Park is one of the many amenities of the great parks system of Bergen County. This fully fenced dog park lets dogs ditch the leash and get some real exercise! The dog park features a separately fenced space for the smaller dogs. This pupular park has a few muddy patches exposed by so many paws having fun.  Beware of mud after a rain! The double-gated entry makes sure your excited pup gets in and out without a hitch. Pieces of agility equipment add to the experience. Mature trees give a great deal of well-appreciated shade in the summer.

Lyndhurst

Lyndhurst is located fourteen miles east of Riverdale. Riverside County Dog Park offers your dog a chance to take off that leash and experience some fun with canine pals! This park has a fully fenced enclosure dedicated to canine play and exercise. Your pup will likely sniff out a new four-legged pal or two here! A separately fenced space is reserved for small dogs. The ground cover is gravel mulch. A water faucet and hose makes filling up those water bowls or bottles a breeze. Pups will find plenty of balls and other toys to play with. Shaded benches keep the human companions comfy.

West Morristown

Morristown is located nineteen miles north of Riverdale. Lewis Morris Dog Park is one of the many amenities of the vast county park. The dog park has two fully fenced enclosures for some off-leash socializing time with furry friends! A separate section of it is set aside for the small pups' play. The dog park has trees around the perimeter which offer some respite on those hot summer days. Waste stations make that chore easy with stocks of waste baggies. The ground in this park is paved, so spotting those --you know whats! -- is not hard.  The main park has twelve miles of trails for you and your leashed pup to explore together.
