The 45 acre Friendship Park can also be accessed from Star Lake, and features plenty of woodland, picnic tables and a few trails that loop their way around the park. If all of that was not enough, Star Lake provides access to the Apshawa Preserve, a 576 acre nature preserve that boasts a variety of different habitats, as well as several trails to take you through them.
