pet-friendly as long as your fur-baby remains on a leash.

Hobie Island Beach Park
On the way to the idyllic Key Biscayne,
Hobie Island Beach Park
is sure to be one of your fur-baby's favorite beaches in Miami. It's a
leash-free dog beach where your pup can dig in the sand and run in the
surf, with Miami's skyline serving as the pawfect backdrop.
One
of the best features of Hobie Island Beach Park is that the water is
shallow, so your pup can play a game of fetch and make a splash without
worrying about strong currents.
Haulover Beach Park
Haulover Beach Park
is located in Miami Beach just north of downtown Miami. This 2-mile
stretch of beach is located just across the Haulover Inlet and welcomes
off-leash dogs to take a paddle in the Atlantic Ocean.
Note that
dogs are only allowed on the beach from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and between
towers 2 and 3. There's also a dog park with areas for small and large
breeds. It contains plenty of shade, waste receptacles, and picnic
tables.
